Assignment
1. Create a 12" x 18" or larger drawing using colored pencils that incorporates twisting ribbons, scrolls, or strands/braids of hair.  You must incorporate highlights into your design. Your design should preferably be abstract/non-objective, please
​ ask if you have a different idea.  

2. Cut a piece of 12" x 18" paper into strips and fold them into a design, and glue them onto a piece of mat board, then draw the design. Draw a rough sketch, then several large 12" x 18" drawings of the best quality!  If you are done well before your classmates you will need to keep drawing ribbons, hair, scrolls, etc.

You must demonstrate mastery of blending colored pencils and graphite
in your design. Craftsmanship, composition and creativity are important components of this assignment!
