Blackout Poetry

Blackout poetry is a form of collaboration- between you and another author!  The only thing is- the other author doesn't know it! 

Blackout poetry is where you take an existing page or newspaper and select words to create a new narrative out of the existing one!   Blacking out the other words is not the only option, you can cut words out and place them on a paper, or illustrate the background of the page.

You can add finished blackout poetry to your art journal, or photocopy it, or take a picture and share it.   Whichever way you do it, you are sure to have lots of inventive and creative fun!
