Step 1: Create 6-8 pages of background collage pages.
1. Crayon (to music!) Pay attention to mark-making quality as music changes. Random scribbles, DON'T plan it out
2. Oil pastel More patterned, expressive, shapes, layering, sgraffito
3. Black marker Not scribbled, create doodles and use a variety of line/value
4. Paint - warm colors
5. Paint with stamps
6. Paint- cool colors
7. Newspaper, text, writing
8. One more- your choice
