Make Your Mark on the World
Journal Project
We all measure our worth in different ways. Some people want to impress others with "bling" such as expensive shoes, material possessions, or clothing. Others feel that their contributions should take the form of actions, such as service, volunteering, or clubs and organizations. How do you want to be remembered? What do you want your legacy to be? What do you want to be known for? You can create a spread that addresses these questions symbolically or metaphorically, or you can create a spread that illustrates how you are making your mark on the world in a more literal sense. You can "interpret" your spirit, the essence of YOU and the things/skills/talents/gifts you bring to the world.
Ultimately, making your mark means making a contribution. If you could leave one message to the world, or one illustration that represents YOUR mark.... your symbol, your YOU-ness......what would it be?!
Your triumphs, setbacks, and struggles — and the lessons that they've learned along the way — reveal some of what's required to go beyond making a living and to make a difference.....to make your mark.
