1. Please look at the information and take NOTES in your art journal on the information about 
COMPOSITION found here.
 
2.  Watch the video below, also taking notes or using thumbnail (small) sketches. 
Power Line Silhouettes- lots of examples!
Here are some examples of composition and silhouettes. Which ones seem the most interesting to you?  Why?

3.  The next step, now that you have studied a little about composition, is to create the background for your
silhouette.  You will create a vivid sunset or sky using just a few colors.  Make sure your brush stroke goes from one
side of the paper to the other.
