Enlarged Plant Element
Create a drawing of an enlarged section of a plant, flower or weed using pen or ink.  Pay close attention to the negative space on your page, and the resulting pattern or rhythm on your paper that the positive shape creates.  Your paper should be immaculate, with no smudges or extraneous marks.  Be meticulous.

You should make a journal spread worth of sketches and observations (from life and research) before making your final choice.  Explain in your journal page why you selected that particular design.
