***Scholastic Art***
Read all of the information at the Barton site.  Barton College is the local regional host of the Eastern NC Scholastic Awards, and it is where the art exhibit will be held for all students who receive a GOLD KEY.

https://www.barton.edu/galleries/scholastic-art-awards/

  • Although Barton College says that Entry JPEGs must be uploaded by Thursday,                             December 14, 2017, NORTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL ART DEPARTMENT REQUIRES THAT YOU                           SUBMIT NO LATER THAN MONDAY, DECEMBER 11TH.
  • All work must be approved by Mrs. Gant- you cannot upload work that was done outside of school without express permission.  If you do upload work without permission, I will delete your account.
Create a Scholastic account at:
http://www.artandwriting.org

Then, spend some time looking at the GOLD KEY winners from last year.

Portfolio Website

You will begin building a portfolio website where you can showcase your work.  Wix website or Weebly website-         you may need to work on this at home if it is blocked at school.

Artsonia

Please check out the Artsonia site.  I have already created an account for you.  All I need is your parent email,  so please give that to me asap.  When your parent has approved your account, you may begin uploading work.  Please upload at least 5 things to begin with that you have done in class.
