Some of the typical art forms in the middle ages include handmade books (Illuminated Manuscripts) and jewelry, small religious paintings, mosaics, and lots of churches and cathedrals.  One of the major artists in the later middle ages was Giotto, in Italy. Check out the vocabulary list below.
